Well he isn’t a Democrat, that has been clear for awhile. During this morning’s show on Belfrage (where he lies about calling other people liars, and claims to know election law). B-n-B (Bad Neighbor Belfrage) and MMM get into a discussion about his political leanings. At first MMM says he is a libertarian then switches gears and says he’s more of an independent then anything, and may be switching to that soon. Well, he would be able to avoid a primary in the governor’s race. I wonder if he told his cohorts over at the SDDP office who depend on his founder’s donation each month to help make payroll?

As for his ramblings about (personal) animosity towards him over the administration building, that is not the case at all. This discussion has always been about spending too much money on a building we don’t need, that is why people sign the petition, Dems, Republicans, Libertarians and Independents. Mike, some things are not about you.

  1. For politicians transitioning from one party to another, there’s usually an undefined period. Voters don’t like an immediate change. He’s known as democrat. He’ll lean toward one or more minority parties but eventually surface republican. Seems like you must be republican in SD to become governor. After the way he’s handled the admin building coup, he’ll not win east river. West River will never accept someone playing cowboy who grew up in a tennis skirt riding side saddle. He’s done.

  2. I listened to the podcast earlier today. mmm predictably got all choked up, and his political spokesperson had to finish his sentence for him. Very strange conversation. BnB saying mmm sounds like a republican the way he pinches pennies. Wow.

My beef with the whole process is not the need for a building. My beef is is the very people who would build a new building telling the city it would cost just as much to remodel the 300 building as a new one. Only in bizzaro world.

  3. Can’t say how I know this but the SDDP has no intention of letting Huether win the primary. So an Independent run would be his only shot. The SDDP has the candidate they plan to run already set. They are even raising money with there own pac.

  4. All 8 people who read this blog knows there is personal animus towards M3 and they know where a large piece of it comes from… I-75, straight outta Detroit…

  5. This guy is only for himself .Labor went to bat for him in the first election and what has slick Mike done nothing to help the working man ,but if he runs I will be there to help his opponent,So run slick Mike.

  6. Bill,
You have NO idea how many people read these posts! Most don’t post, but trust me….many read! Frustrated city employees included!

  7. Even Trump supporters realize M3 is egotistical, arrogant, and self focused. A good leader bends and amends. This boy continues over the cliff without a parachute or kite. His tears fall faster but it’s not deep enough at the bottom where there’s impact.

  8. Here is how to read between truth and broadcast/print media. There’s substance commercially but here is interpreter. Real impact is subjective. Never believe a politician and most lawyers (especially the city attorney). Our sense is no longer dishonest experienced used car lot lizards. We have the Internet with research like CarFax, KBB, Consumer Reports. Politically, this is one of those places. Opinions and action are democratic and communal, not dictator dictated.

  9. Milo Yiannopoulus is an internet troll who speaks at college campuses. Trolls are political activist Alt-rights who regard free speech the root of democracy. He was banned from Twitter but remains exalted with 300k followers on web blogs. He’s an editor for Breitbart News whose CEO (Stephen Bannon) was hired to manage the Trump campaign.

“The trolls are the only people telling the truth.”

“The space made for others to be bolder in their speech is important work.”

“Trolling is a direct response to being told by the left what not to say.”
