It occurred to me, considering the professional damage done by Trump to the presidency, it would be a good idea for Republicans to vote for dead presidents in 2020. It’s the best way to prevent further disgrace.

According to Wikipedia (the summit of all research sources!), Donald Trump lost the 2016 popular vote by 2,868,686 votes, not six million. Trump won 30 states plus one of Maine’s electoral votes; Clinton won 20 states plus DC’s 3 electoral votes.
Clinton’s margin of victory in California alone (4.2 million votes) was greater than the national popular vote difference between the two candidates.
