This is dedicated to Theresa Stehly who got beat up a little last week by our local ‘liberal’ media. Apparently they think people in our community who dissent and form grassroots movements to make their neighborhoods better are ‘whiners’. Sorry, wrong once again. They are patriots and should be praised by our local FREE (?) press. Government and media shold fear the citizens not the other way around.

Nice letter to the editor defending Stehly in the Argus on Oct 3rd. I felt Jason’s cartoon was a cheapshot and unfairly gave Mayor Munson credit as a champion of the Sioux Falls’ citizenry. It’s easy to take the side of a lynch mob. Too bad Jason doesn’t read your blog. He should justify his stance against a local grassroots movement whose stance against overspending by our elected officials is justified. Hopefully, my sentiments won’t be dismissed as the rants of a failed cartoonist jealous of another cartoonist who has the good fortune to find a daily newspaper willing to run his cartoons.

  2. He won’t come back, he thiks I called him the RED BARON of cartooning. Which is ironic, since he once chastized me of being too ‘PC’. Talk about not having a sense of humor . . . no wonder his cartoons are not funny.

He chastized you as being too PC? I would not agree with him. Why did he think you called him the Red Baron of cartooning? Is Jason, in any way, related to Patrick Lalley, Nestor Ramos, Randell Beck, or Jill Callison? He told me he worked as an animator in California. His cartoons are very colorful.

  4. Not sure, R. Beck did say in his column that a lot of people are getting pregnant over at the AL, anything is possible I guess.
