I’ve always liked this biblical verse. It reminds me of this wealthy Baptist I used to work for, he was always trying to get my co-worker and I to go to church. My co-worker was an atheist and I am a deist. I explained to him a million times what deism means and told him I didn’t need ‘religion’ to reassure my faith in God. He just never got it, but of course, he didn’t get much of anything.
