PIERRE, S.D. (AP) – Vice President Dick Cheney has returned to South Dakota for his annual pheasant hunting trip.
His plane landed at the Pierre airport at 10:58 a.m. Cheney left the plane, did not wave, and got into a black SUV, which was part of a 12-vehicle caravan.
In the past, the vice president has stayed at a private hunting lodge near Gettysburg.
He is expected to be in the state for several days.
This marks the seventh year Cheney has gone pheasant hunting in South Dakota as vice president.
The best cartoon published in the Argus in 2006. It should be published in the Argus in 2007.
Y’know, I thought I felt the presence of a Dementor nearby.
BTW, anyone see Keith Olbermann’s latest special comment? It’s a must see:

I truly wonder why these men are allowed to run free. Back in my youth, even the GOP realized that Nixon was a crook and needed to be impeached. These clowns are so much worse.
Jackie, your comments could provoke the “other” cartoonist to respond with a nasty diatribe directed toward Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton. I remember John Dean testified to the committee headed by Sam Ervin that Nixon was a conspirator in the Watergate coverup. If I recall, current Republican Presidential hopeful, Fred Thompson, also served on that committee.
