I just picked up this gem on sale at Barnes and Noble yesterday. The book is about 4″ thick and includes CD ROM’s where you can search cartoons by topic.
It’s a plagairizing cartoonist’s dream come true!
I made it through the 1920’s yesterday. Flapper’s were very bad girls!
DECEMBER 3, 2007 – HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Here we go again. The war on Christmas returns, and it seems the only ones that care are journalists that have nothing better to write about. Originally made popular by America’s favorite pundit (puke) Bill O’ Reilly, it pretty much was under the radar for the mainstream press until I opened Bill Janklow’s favorite ‘Alternative Press’ yesterday. Please. These are stories reserved for cable news stations that are named after forest critters and grocery store tabloids.
The greeting Happy Holidays, which has been around for over 60 years in America, refers to this time of year when several holidays are next to each other, like Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Years. The greeting isn’t meant to offend. I say Merry Christmas ON Christmas.
So put your guns away, and let’s try to get the media to concentrate on the REAL wars that are going on.
