I’ve been talking to a few other SF cartoonists wondering if they have had a Chris Browne siting – no such luck. Maybe he’ll stumble onto this blog and give a shout out. BTW Chris, It’s a Wonderful Life is my all time favorite movie (that and my favorite documentary, Grey Gardens).

Hey, the man’s probably busy.
It takes quite a bit to draw as many cartoons a day as he does. Judging from his creative output and the amount of calls I’ve heard that he’s received, he’s probably a very busy man!
That said, he is rather hard to find out and about…not that I’m stalking him or anything…

Yeah, I’m sure every school and church group in town is probably clamoring to talk to him. I emailed his Son-In-Law, Dan Piraro (BIZARRO), he says we probably won’t see him until the Spring thaw (notice I used summer pictures in my toon).
I guess Vikings hibernate.
Hey, if I had his job, I would too!
🙂
Y’know, I feel the same way. I don’t want Browne to think we’re stalking him, but we are small town Mayberry in alot of ways and a friendly and inquisitive bunch of folks.
I love that Scott wrote to Piraro and Piraro responded! Way cool.
BTW – “It’s a Wonderful Life” is right up there as one of my top 8 movies. I love parodies of it too — like SNL’s long lost ending, StickFigure Theater’s version, etc.
On a lefty note, I absolutely love the cartoon parody “It’s a Horrible Life”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8DCoYJ_PJI
What with the state of our city/state union (Hyperion, TransCanada, city council chess players, Rome-isn’t-burning-yet Coliseum gladiators, etc.) ya wonder if hasn’t re-packed his Viking horns and headed out of the Best Little Town in America by now??? I may just hide in his undergarments and tag along…

I’m guessing you could fit.
