Geez, I wonder if this guy is a consultant? He claims consultants help ‘SAVE’ taxpayers money. Like the consulting firm the Washington Pavilion paid $50,000 to basically look at an old photo of Washington HS and say “Yup, those are historical windows.” I think Theresa’s point was that Gene has a staff of 22 and he himself gets paid $107,000 a year, shouldn’t he be qualified to figure this stuff out w/o hiring an independent consultant? Of course this is the same guy who said in a recent meeting, “I’m not used to all this municipal accounting, it’s different then what I have done in my previous job.” Yeah, I’m sure it is different then pushing pencils with your buddy Dave at a credit card company.
Oh imagine that, the letter writer is a Capital Management Consultant, big surprise!
