Though there has been a flotilla of reporters and columnists slamming McCain’s temperment, George Will is a little different, it’s not like he is liberal pundit like Rachel Madow, George is a respected conservative journalist. This can’t bode well for the McSpain campaign.
Conservatives who insist that electing McCain is crucial usually start, and increasingly end, by saying he would make excellent judicial selections. But the more one sees of his impulsive, intensely personal reactions to people and events, the less confidence one has that he would select judges by calm reflection and clear principles, having neither patience nor aptitude for either.
What I find more interesting is the hundreds of economists (with PhD’s) who signed a letter urging congress to scrap the bailout plan. I’ve yet to see anyone other than Paulson defend it.
