That’s just great. There’s a damn good reason I don’t use my real name on the internets. It isn’t so much that I’m afraid what people would think of me if they read my comments, it’s that every once in a while when arguing on the internets, someone will make a threat. And you never know which one of the nutjobs out there who threatens to make bagpipes out of your lungs is serious. At least with a psuedonym, it’s a lot more work for them to find me.
I agree, I think psuedonyms are good. But over at DWC everyone comments as ‘ANON’ it’s annoying as Hell, because once the discussion gets going, you get lost as to who said what. Then there is the ANONs that call you a dumbass and a jerk. Well which one was it? At least use a moniker – please!
If everyone on the internet to whom I said “I’d like to gut you and swim around in your blood” knew my real name, I wouldn’t be able to go to my church anymore.
