  1. Detroit –

Unless the argus did it’s own poll, the poll in question was an improptu poll BY the SD Chamber, of about 100 people. Not exactly accurate.

  2. Did you even read the story? It is a Chamber of Commerce membership survey of less than 100 people, not a poll. Those numbers are votes, not percentages.

The Republicans and Democrats got almost equal numbers of votes on total. The only reason Stephanie beat Daugaard is that the GOP vote was split five ways. Stephanie is by far the best known candidate. She spent over a million dollars advertising herself four months ago, and even now there are ads running in her support. And despite that, she barely beats a Lt. Governor who has never run a statewide race on his own and has name reconition of, at best, 30%. Hardly kicking ass.

  3. As I recall from a recent Argus article, fund wise, isn’t daugaard the exclusive property of t denny sanford?

  4. Daugaard has gotten $20,000 from Denny Sanford. In total Daugaard has raised $900,000. My math says that’s about 2%.

  5. Thanks for the math Sparrow, I would suspect the $900,000 came from a lot ‘Denny Sanfords’ Personally I wouldn’t take a 5-Spot and a reach around from the prick.

  6. Daugaard got interviewed on KSFY, and MY GOD is that man into himself. He talked non-stop for atleast 5 minutes. I doubt he even took a breath.
