It’s about time

After Congress attempted 7 times to start pullout of US troops with it only going to the president’s desk once (the A-hole vetoed it) Obama is finally announcing troop withdrawal today, which will save taxpayers billions, save American and Iraqi lives and make the Iraqi people, very, very, happy.

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is ready to say he’s ending the Iraq war by pulling all combat forces out of the country by Aug. 31, 2010. That’s not as fast as he promised in his campaign, but still hastens the exit of most U.S. forces from the war zone.
