In plain English, our unalienable rights are endowed by our Creator (God), and it is the responsibility of our government to protect these rights.
No, our rights are endowed by us. God gave us our own brains and thoughts to govern ourselves. Individulism and independence is the backbone of a FREE society. Faith is an important facet of that, but it is only one rung in the ladder.

Christ is freedom’s father. Government’s confiscation of personal and financial freedom is the byproduct of socialism.
Jesus was actually a socialist (you know, helping your fellow man, etc. etc.). He warned us of the money changers, didn’t encourage us to be them. He got up in their shit, and wrecked their house and such.
I think you better throw away your current bible and pick up the King James version, it explains all of this in great detail, really.
