Heck, I kinda agree with some of it.
Republicans should get half the blame for the mess we are in. The other half should go to Dems like Frank and Dodd and Rangel, Dems who were in charge of Congress for the past two years. And yes, Republicans are hypocrites for screaming now and not screaming when Bush was in office. On the other hand, maybe they are waking up. Maybe too late.
I don’t recall blaming Obama for the economy. He hasn’t been in office long enough for that. But he has been in office long enough to make things worse.
Did you watch the video? I think what he was saying was that #1) The GOP needs to own up to what they did (or the lack thereof) #2) Offer solutions. If the GOP continues to blame Dems for the last 8 years (and they are partially to blame, but not totally) and continue to offer no solutions they will sink themselves. RUSH loves the Dems being in power, he has something to bitch about.
Actually, when Thune tried to offer up an alternative to one of the bailouts (I forget which one, there have been so many), you guys wouldn’t even give him an iota of credit for that.

Because Thune offered more tax cuts to the rich. Like I said, no new ideas. Just trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I’ll give him credit for one thing – it was another stupid idea.
