  1. Rounds did the right thing. Even if you disagree with the ban, you have to ackonwledge 70% of the voting public wanted it, so had he used his veto stamp, it could have spelled disaster for his legacy.

  2. Oh, I support the ban, I just think he wouldn’t sign it. And since when has he been concerned about his legacy?

  3. I know you supported the ban, I should have been more clear when I said “you” as I meant it in a generic “anyone” context.

    I’m not sure if Mike cares about his legacy or not, but it seems so many of our politicians seem to stress about it, I’m sure there is a little part of him who would like to be known for doing something positive instead of just being the Governor who was in office during two failed attempts to ban abortion or the guy who was at the center of “plane-gate”.

  4. Any state-level politician worried about his legacy suffers from a lack of perspective. Nobody gives a shit about our state politicians unless they do something stupid (like kill a guy) or die in office.
    Don’t do those things, and you’ll be forgotten soon after you leave office. Legacy intact.
