I had to laugh, but was not surprised that event that was supposed to draw 10,000 people brought in 325. I hope Allen wokeup this morning and said to himself, “Maybe I am wrong, maybe Americans really do want socialized medicine.” – Yeah Right!

A head count showed 325 people in the grandstand for the midafternoon speeches, though organizer Dr. Allen Unruh later estimated 500 to 700 people attended at least some of the four-hour rally. Either way, the turnout was a fraction of the 4,000 at Covell Lake on April 15 to re-enact the Boston Tea Party in protest of government spending.

I see Abe Lincoln showed up . . . or was that Ironic Johnny?

I think Dr. Blake Curd shaved his head instead. I loved all the people they interviewed on TV after the event. They were like 900 years old.

At least Curd is a real DR.

…4000 at the previous tea party?
    My ass…
    Who did that count?
I was THERE and there were nowhere NEAR 4000 people…

You know your argument has no merit if you have to lie to support it.

    They said there’d be 10,000 people there…
after it was over they said that less than 1000 were there…
    Yeah… wayyyyyyy less… (fewer)

What did you expect from a back cracker? Maybe we need to have 3 of these events this week and 3 a week for the next 6 weeks.

If this is the revolution teabaggers are talking about, they are gonna need more guns.

They are turning out to be the joke I knew they would be.

I don’t have anything against chiropractors, in fact I go to one every now and then. However, most of Allen Unruh’s speeches don’t include the fact that he is a chiropractor, instead of an actual medical doctor. If people aren’t aware of that fact they don’t know otherwise. As far as Dr. Curd goes, I have been a patient of his and he has to shave his head, because it is a lot different looking than the men who go bald naturally.

Red- I wasn’t making fun of Blake’s shaved head, just making a joke about John’s joke.

it irritates me to that Unruh calls himself a doctor to. He is no MD.

  9. I have a friend who had an automated phone message last week inviting him to be a part of this fiasco. He jotted down the phone number at the end of the message and called to tell them to “never fucking call me again”. Of course, it was Unruh’s office, and his receptionist wasn’t too happy with my friend’s language. Those fuckers can’t even afford a separate line for their politico spamming?

13, I didn’t figure you were making fun of Curd’s shaved head. I guess you could say I was basically commenting. I have a definite opinion of men that shave their heads and it isn’t real flattering. I wonder what they would think if all of a sudden women started shaving their heads. I have thought about doing it if I could afford a really good wig, because the older I get the worse my hair gets and with two bad shoulders it is really hard to manage. Oh well, just a thought. lol
