1. Todd Snider is truly talented and I like his music.

   That being said, he’s no better than any other fringe kook who perpeuates stereotypes to make his point.

   To try to claim that all Republicans as racist, sexist, religious whackos is as intolerant and bigoted as claiming all Democrats are socialist, godless, morally bankrupt morons.

2. He stereotypes both sides in the song. That’s why it’s funny instead of just a poke in the eye.

3. You mean he was being sarcastic? Get out!
