  1. Great, if elected this will be like going in the wayback machine to 1950. If Kermie had his way the soccer fields would not be done, there would be no baseball or softball fiels that compete for national tournaments. The bike path would not exist. But the sidewalks and roads would be a great shape. SF would not get anything done with Mayor NO in charge.

  2. Funny you bring up the soccer fields, during the press conference today he talked about that. He pretty much said that when our city does something (like soccer fields) they should do it excellently, but we shouldn’t be subsidizing everyone’s special interests, Kermit used miniature golf as an example. There is a lot of misconceptions about Kermit and spending, and people like you are only fueling the fire.

  3. When you consider every mayor in the last 30 years has had the motto “spend, spend, spend, bigger, bigger, bigger”, maybe we need one or two terms under a guy who is a little frugal.

Seems to me Kermit has the right idea. Spend where it makes sense, but don’t try to be all things to all people, and don’t put pet projects ahead of infrastucture.

A true fiscal conservative is long overdue in the Mayor’s office.
