Why should residents vote for you? “I think Sioux Falls is going to continue to grow and that growth really needs to be forecasted and directed rather than willie nillie.”
I about peed my pants reading his BIO. First off, beware Davison county Republicans (think Steve Sibson). Also, anyone who would call themselves a ‘Conservative’ and a ‘Leader’ in the same sentence obviously is out of touch with reality. Conservatives cannot grasp leadership, because leading means you want to move things forward, they want change, conservatism is about resisting change. But if that ignorance didn’t strike you, his last sentence will;
Events Center: Supports. “I think we have to move forward with something… If you think the tax on food is enough to take food out of your mouth, I would say you can stop smoking a cigarette.”
Oh, yes Charlie, because all poor people smoke, do drugs and are alchies’. Don’t you have a Teabag party to attend? I hope your opponent Clarence Kooistra hands you your ass on a silver platter in the election.
Oh, but the story gets better, Daddy’s boy, Gregggggg Jamison is worried that the next council will be less experienced because so many councilors are changing;
“The chance that a whole new group of people that could come in and be the majority is a threat to the status quo,” said Councilor Greg Jamison, who will remain on the council. “It’s just too many people at once. Too much of a shift of experience and knowledge.”
You are right, Greggo, I am worried to, considering that you and Kenny still don’t know WTF is going on, that will give us 6 councilors that need to find the rubber stamp that your daddy and Munson left behind. But his next statement really earns Jamison the ‘Hypocrite of the Day’ award.
With the new group, it’s a risk that they might not be as progressive as the current council, Jamison added. “We could see ourselves going backwards and be surpassed by surrounding communities instead of being the leader,” he said.
REAL progressives don’t have rubberstamps, don’t believe in taxing the shit out of the poor, don’t believe in helping the rich first and the working class second. Gregg, I hate to break you the news, but the current council, including yourself, ARE NOT FUCKING PROGRESSIVES!
