Be warned, the volume sucks, so you will have to crank it up. Of course I have punk rock ears, so who knows.

Not sure why we don’t have debates anymore when city elections come up. I believe that candidates need to debate, it shows who is qualified.

  1. I can just imagine Munson trying to debate.

    Seriously, no debates? No true heated discussions? Are we Canadian?

  2. No shit. Can you imagine if the Constitutional Congress held a ‘Forum’? We would still be under English Rule.

  3. If Munson debated, you’d need one of those amplified telephone devices. He can’t sell anyone with his mumbling and cross talk.

  4. How about a debate between Munson and Knudson. You would be so confused by the end of it you wouldn’t know what to do.

  5. Some highlights from the forum;

    Peterson starts off with a joke that he gets mistaken for Al Franken all the time. Huh? I always thought he looked like an adult Cabbage Patch kid.

    And Huether claimed flat out that he met with John Morrell’s and they are going NOWHERE and are investing a lot of money in our community.

    Really? Maybe you should talk to the mayor of Sioux City about that.

  6. I’d say the main reason there’s no debates is they know our awful local media will give them nothing but glowing coverage (except for Kermit), allowing Peterson and Vernon in particular to just babble cliche after cliche.

  7. Vernon really put on an Emmy winning performance. He is so fake, I want to puke.

    BTW, Steveo, Bible bumping and abortion have nothing to do with city politics.

  8. I did ask several of my questions that I emailed in though, so that was nice. I was happy to see that besides Kermit, Huether was open to funding the EC differently.

  9. Pretty sure abortion wouldn’t come up at the city council debate. Amazing that you still don’t get my blog. I’ve devoted it to one topic. Like that is a crime.
