South DaCola snubbed again

Another failed weather forecast

I’ll have to admit, I was pretty surprised that the RCJ has featured me a couple times this past month, and though I may act like a media whore, ever since my blog has become one of the most read political blogs in SD, I really don’t care who gives me coverage. But why does the SD MSM continue to snub me? Sure, I slap their balls around as much as possible, but you would think this would chide them to get me in the ring. Nope. And my fellow bloggers don’t help much either. It’s always the same old parade of bloggers who give the PC version of how Bush was an idiot, Rounds is a failure, Thune is a hero, blah, blah, blah. How about a satirist’s view? Seriously? I know your viewers can handle it, they laugh every time your weather forecast is completely wrong, which is quite a bit.

But, as we know from our experience with a retired TV journalist(?) in the blogoshere, trying to be funny, the SD MSM doesn’t have a clue.

Another, sleepy, boring night in KELOLAND.

My blogger hero, Amato, gives us the skinny about the Bush legacy

Like a character from The Godfather, John tells it like it is;

Amato: This has been the most incredibly destructive presidency probably in the history of our nation. Look at the results. Look at what Obama has inherited. And I’d say David again, what America has done now is repudiated Conservatism in its entirety.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

It’s time for all Americans to realize that Conservatism, nor Liberalism offer all the answers, it’s somewhere in the middle.

A bunch of fuddy-duddies cry about (clothed) strippers

Though I rarely disagree with Cory at Madville, I have to say clothed strippers at the Big Boy Toy Show this weekend is ‘No big deal’. There has been half naked women at the show before, what’s the difference if they are called ‘models’ or ‘strippers’ – big whoop. As a anti-censorship advocate I am rarely phased by much, as I found this story to be quite comical and much ado about nothing. I will say this though, the businesses that pulled their sponsorship have that right, and I applaud them for practicing that right, it’s a free country and you can do what you want. There are many businesses that I do not shop or dine at anymore because I disagree with some of the business decisions they have made.

I will agree with Cory on one aspect of the show though;

Now if we could just get over all the marekting machismo and trying to convince men that they can compensate for their shortcomings by buying larger, louder toys….

The bigger the motorbike or truck, the smaller the package. Maybe they need to rename the show to ‘The little Pee-Pee, Big boy, Toy show’
