Events center: Against. “I think it would be good for our community. I’m concerned about the funding part of it. I don’t think we should raise taxes to build it. It would be better if the facility could be self-supporting.”
The last part will make this race interesting considering Jim sat on the Event Center task force. I’m glad to see Jim has a good challenger, I just hope his popularity as a businessman in the community doesn’t cloud people’s judgement.
