  1. That first city council meeting should be interesting. Lots of learning curve for new council members and mayor. I want to see the look on their faces when they learn they represent unconstitutional tyranny.

I’m planning on making an appearance via the 5 minutes per citizen time to request a city employee complaint hearing. It’ll be a week when someone from the city attorney’s office is not present. They block city charter process regarding employee complaints and would take over the council meeting. I’ll cite from City Code Section 30. City codes are not available at city hall, on the city’s web site, or at the library. For $1 a page consulting fee, I’ll offer copies to the mayor and council.

They really need a good lawyer.

  2. I think you should let us all know when you have made an appearance… I’d like to hear the response – especially if you ask them where to obtain copies of city codes if they aren’t available at any of the usual places.

  3. “on the city’s web site,”

Doesn’t look like the city’s website to me. I have been here before to look stuff up. I find it a little troubling that a city with a $330 million dollar budget doesn’t have some internally listing our city’s ordinances on the city website. Maybe they do that for a reason? See if you pay someone to do this stuff, you can always blame them if things go wrong.
