Results from the Stormland TV, Gargoyle Leader, Mason Dixon Poll • Congrats KERMIT!

1. Of course there were 32% undecided, so it still is anyone’s game.

2. I’m shocked. Not about Staggers being the front-runner, but how the hell is Brown polling in second place?? Seriously – do people buy that “nice guy” personality they saw on KELO? Who actually thinks that gives him the qualifications to run a city?

   Go Kermie Go.

3. Yesterday’s puff piece on Vernon was atrocious. I realize that all of these profiles are of that sort, but his daughter was brought up as many times as Munson’s Minervas incident was on Sunday. You don’t get a medal for reading to your children, and the “I’m in politics to ensure the future of her generation” is such a generic cliche.

4. huethers came to my work yesterday, and told us all what a good friend he was of the director of the place. little does huethers know that the guy who runs the place is pretty much hated by all. as soon as someone asked a hard question, he said to go to his website, all the answers are there.

5. My god, since their boy Vernon isn’t leading the poll KELO spent their entire segment on which candidate has the highest “favorable” opinion. You have to wait until 10 to get to the real news.

6. My opinion of Vernon Brown went way down, way back in the 80s when I wrote a letter to him informing him that my Dad’s name was also Vernon Brown. I included my Dad’s address and figured the news guy would at least drop a note to my Dad, but he never heard a word. Just how long does it take to write a short note that would have brightened up an elderly person’s day?

7. Scott-

   I saw that story. What a bunch of bullshit. That station is really a stinking pile of shit. They just couldn’t tell people Kermit was kicking ass and taking names. Who cares if you have a favorable rating. I supported Hillary not because I like her but because I thought she would get stuff done.

8. Go Kermit. If you make it, it’s criminal corruption that will take 4 years to clean up. Your second term should be life, liberty, and rebuilding. My check’s in the mail (really).

   Women for Brown is curious. Perhaps, bald is a kinky appeal.

   I never watch KELO at 6 or 10. I think they’re popular in rural areas for their corn commercials. Anderson Cooper on CNN is good at 10.

   Home Rule Dictatorship must go but not before Kermit uses it to restore democracy.

9. Kermit lead the pole because you love him or hate him. No middle ground. The rest of the field is new to most people. That shows the high amount of undeceided!

10. Instead of confetti at the election party, how about ‘croutons’. Get busy l3wis.

11. I’ll bet the Code Enforcer is fast and furious pulling up legal Staggers signs. Staggers will not need secret police so here’s one city position to cut.

    I guess I would take your skeptitism to heart if the election was a month or two away, but it is in 11 days. The polling will give Staggers and Vernon to momentum to be in the runoff.

13. I watch KSFY at 5:30AM and 5PM, and again at 6PM. At 5:30PM I watch KDLT for the national news because I like their national anchors better than the others. At 10:00PM I switch over to The Golden Girls. This is unless I figure there is going to be something new on the news or weather, then I will watch which ever channel has mentioned an interesting sounding story during the day. I figure by the time I see the news 2-3 times a day, I’ve seen almost every thing that has happened during the day.

    Your’e not voting for Vernon? Are you?

15. If the runoff ends up being between Brown and Staggers, it’s a very clear choice for me.

    Far too many little old ladies have a crush on Vernon, though.

16. I will have to give props to Vernon though. It amazes me that the candidate who has spent the least has gotten such a high standing.

    Like Rocco said to me, “Seems it will be the Faceoff of the follically challenged.”
