1. LAWSUITS AGAINST THE CITY (due process in code enforcement hearings and redlight camera)

2. LARCHWOOD CASINO (job and retail opportunities)

3. CODE ENFORCEMENT MESS

4. DEREGULATION FOR REBUILDING OLDER NEIGHBORHOODS

5. TREE TRIMMING / SNOWGATES (city should take care of their own property)

6. UNEMPLOYMENT IN SIOUX FALLS (the candidates talk about bringing new workers to town, but not about the people who are out of work currently)

3 Thoughts on “TOP SIX TOPICS THAT ARE NOT BEING ASKED OF THE CANDIDATES IN THE SIOUX FALLS MAYORAL RACE

Code Enforcement has a new scam.

Annual home based business fee. It’s not in codes. I’ve discovered 5 people who’ve been contacted. They use a list of those who take a home office deduction (30,000+).

If you don’t pay $30 protection money, they send you a $100 citation signed by Mr. Code Goon. As usual, it’s mailed (improperly served) and code numbers are made up.

They have the nerve to ask you to fill out a zoning variance form. Codes do not apply so they’re asking you to submit that you owe them a continual annual fee.

Never … ever … never pay the city any fine, fee, or permit. Do everything without permits. Don’t pay camera, parking, or citation tickets. With present code 2-66, they can fine up to $600. It’s moot because they can’t appeal into court to collect it.

    Dance. Dance. Dance.

I have asked questions about your lawsuit and IL’s in the debates and forums, and all news sources refuse to ask the questions.

The main reason people are apathetic is because the reporters at these places are apathetic. Jorgie wants to talk about a couple of grand in travel expenses while the citizens of SF are being harrassed by people who get their wages paid by us.
