Watch our weekly show “100 Eyes on S.D. Politics” with political reporter Jonathan Ellis for a rousing discussion of political news with today’s guest: Angie Buhl. Managing Editor Patrick Lalley is off this week. Buhl will be the youngest woman ever to serve in the State Legislature when she steps in to represent District 15 in the Senate. Join the discussion of statewide elections and local government.
South DaCola will be asking questions, that is for sure. I also can’t wait to see her army of feminine warriors throw her softballs.
Not sure who watched the video, but I got a good laugh when Angie said that Jenna Haggar lives with her parents.
I was also impressed what Angie said about the Events Center funding, “People who are not using the facility should not be paying for it.”
“People who are not using the facility should not be paying for it.â€
Sounds better in theory than in practice. But it makes for good populism.
There are ways to minimize your contributions, though. If Huether and his pals manage to convince Pierre to allow a higher sales tax, I’ll probably be purchasing more goods online.
The sales tax thing is a non-starter. Even if they can con the legislature into it, it won’t get the votes in SF.
