He ate a 16 oz. T-Bone
drank 6 glasses of house merlot
and ordered a bacon cheeseburger to go
then dined and ditched . . . pretty ballzy.
he wore a Freightliner hat, western shirt, cowboy boots and no pants.

The fact that he wasnt wearing any pants would have been a red flag for me…
I wonder if he knows Large Marge.
Why didn’t you grab a bat and a couple other dudes and run over to Scarlet’s to collect? Probably a 90% chance that’s where the dude went.
And you need to update your sign:
No shirt
No shoes
and especially no pants
No service.
Hey, all I care about is the tip.
I’m guessing people who dine and dash aren’t real strong tippers. Hard to do the math on 15% of a bill you have no intention of paying I suppose.
However I don’t want it to go un-noticed that you sound an awful lot like a Republican with an admission like that. It basically sounds like “as long as I get mine… I don’t care about anyone else”.
Be careful what you wish for – it works both ways.
Do you get paid for working? I don’t think expecting a wage for doing my job is a ‘Republican’ attribute.
I just think when you make a statement like “all I care about is the tip” it suggests you don’t care if your employee gets stiffed and instead you are just looking out for number one (you).
If the employer said the only thing they care about is their tab and the could care less if you only averaged 2% in tips that night, you likely wouldn’t appreciate it very much. I’m sure many employers are that way… but it doesn’t make it right.
I was being sarcastic, but not about ‘getting paid’ for doing a good job.
