Jim “Doesn’t care about a conflict of interest” concerning liquor licenses. Well maybe the ethics board does?
Jim gets flippant about liquor license fees getting raised during the Public Services Committee meeting yesterday (FF to 19:00) After Jamison warns him of a conflict of interest as a councilor. Jim is up to get a license so he can open his biker bar or whatever.

these guys always want less “gum’ment” regulation, unless it’s regulating their competition out of business.
I also think it is a bit hypocritical of him to be a big advocate of raising hotel fees but being against liquor licenses.
