Next Tuesday, April 12, Scott and I will trek to Yankton to interview Representative Hunhoff about the session. It should be a good one. I also have a few questions about the SD Democratic party grooming Mr. Huether for bigger and better things, and I ain’t talking about a 19.9% interest rate.

Well, the Democrats ran a Republican for governor in 2010. Why not a subprime “loan shark” in 2014, at least
he’s a long time registered Democrat.

In some ways, it’s sorta tragic. I warned people about electing a marketing person from the CC industry, but Staggers was the boogey man because he was ‘too conservative’ Yet has made an honest living his whole life.

At first I thought the tragedy was Staggers losing, now I think the tragedy is that everything Huether has worked for in his first year in office will be swept away on a simple council vote. The Events Center proposal will never make the ballot. Then what will Huether have to talk about? Sewer pipes and roads? Well guess what, that’s what he should be talking about.
