Governor Christie needed someone to fly him to his kid’s game. Hey, Chris, get your pilot’s license like Marion and fly yourself;
Gov. Chris Christie arrived at his son’s baseball game this afternoon aboard a State Police helicopter.
Right before the lineup cards were being exchanged on the field, a noise from above distracted the spectators as the 55-foot long helicopter buzzed over trees in left field, circled the outfield and landed in an adjacent football field. Christie disembarked from the helicopter and got into a black car with tinted windows that drove him about a 100 yards to the baseball field.
During the 5th inning, Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie got into the car, rode back to the helicopter and left the game. During a pitching change, play was stopped for a couple of minutes while the helicopter took off.
Chris must have stole a page from the Rounds administration.
I thought exactly the same thing. Christie did copy Rounds. I wonder if Doogard will take notes on this brouhaha??
While the helicopter ride was bad, the car ride 300 feet was a little over the top.
From the looks of Christy – I imagine he’d have a tough time walking 300 feet without a couple breaks in between. And even then, he’d have ended up just sitting in a pool of his own sweat for a couple hours. I mean – come on. 5’11 and (guessing) 420?
HAHAHAHA He wrote a check today. The guy that said I WILL NOT pay back the money paid back the money for the helicopter ride. Although I doubt it came out of his pocket. He probably got the rethug party to pay for it.
Just like Rounds. Didn’t pay the money until he found out that the media was digging around. Same thing to, paid it out of the governor’s fund that was setup by Billy Bob Janks (IMO) to launder money for Repugs.
