I attended this last night and bought a couple of small prints from a talented young lady. It was funny, as soon as I turned around after paying her she says to her girlfriends, “I finally sold something, I have drinking money now.” Or something like that. Oh the goals and aspirations of a young artist.
If she was the young girl who also does fashion design, I bought a print from her as well. Now she could buy one of her girlfriends a drink.
Nope, it was the redhead, Alexandra Hurney. But I did like the fashion girl’s stuff. I got a free button from her. I saw you walking around and was going to say hi, but when my butt is planted on a barstool, it is hard for me to get up. I thought the people watching last night was more interesting then the art.
