You can read his accomplishments here.
He didn’t cut back on street sweeping, he simply combined the efforts of street sweeping and snowplowing.
Now I’ve got a nice mix of leaves and snow piled up near my sidewalk.
Thanks for that Mike.
I can’t disagree with most of these especially number 10, but I do have to take issue with number 2 since he didn’t have anything to do with that. It wasn’t even the same branch of city government, so place blame where blame is due… to the city council.
Also for number 8, I can’t say as that was a huge issue, and if that makes your top 10 complaints I’d say you have it pretty good. We know budgets are tight and things had to be cut somewhere, so I’d rather skimp on some street sweeping and keep our police force and fire departments full staffed.
In truth, the issues surrounding the Events Center should probably be 1, 2, and 3.
Bad- Mark Cotter told the public during this L & L session that it was the property owner’s responsibility to clean the leaves on the street. WTF? Pretty soon we will be filling our own potholes;

Craig – He had a lot to do with, trust me, I talked to people in the executive session, he wasn’t sitting in the corner at those meetings. Yes, I agree we need to cut budgets. But if we can afford to pay out 10 million a year in entertainment facility bond payments we can afford to sweep the streets with our BRAND NEW street sweepers. And you are right, the EC marketing plan by the city was misleading, unethical and borderline illegal.
