I can understand law enforcement’s frustration, trust me, I see stupid people in SF commit stupid crimes all the time. What I don’t understand is the violence against them. These people PAY there wages, and the cops defend the billionaires. If the 1% were on your side, wouldn’t you be making more money?

Oh, I agree. When are we going to learn from history? It is a little like the EC vote. Did we learn nothing from other entertainment facilities we have built in SF? ‘Oh, but things will be different this time.’ Oh, bullshit! Call me a cynic, but in the 10 years I have followed city government, there is always a constant that has never changed thru different administrations. The city overspends on projects, especially on ‘Quality of Life’ projects. Why? Because they can. When there is not enough in fund ‘A’ they can always transfer from fund ‘B’. Take it from me, history is a good way to predict the future. Magic 8 Balls and Ouijie Boards only work in the fantasy world of political campaigns.
