During the working session today, the city attorney backed off in changing public input to the end of the meeting. The only change will be a more complex timer.

Shot clock now in operation. Next we’ll have guys in striped shorts doing video reviews of borderline comments – and mandatory “TV Time-outs”.
I guess Tex Golfing proposed a bunch of different amendments that got shot down.
Free speech is saved for now. However, they’ll still shut down the web site until they can mask and garble anyone who advocates democracy or government of, by, and for the people.
I suggest a clock here of months and days before we can elect a new mayor.
I heard Rolfing tried to get it moved to 20 minutes before the meeting started, and no one seconded his suggestions. He was blindsided by the city attorney.
A little birdy told me that a message was left at the mayor’s office that if they move the public input there would be a very messy public revolt. Must have gotten the message.

Well, it was kinda a big bird, and she pretty much threatened the mayor with a messy petition drive.
I think I know that bird!
Yeah, and she’s got a watering hole right in front of her house from the sinkhole. She took some funny pictures of the guys in the hole, but they were kinda dark, and I couldn’t salvage them.
