Go Kermit!
With 12 of 13 voting centers accounted for…
Kermit….51%
De……….37%
Cory…….11%
Give em hell Kermit. The money machine comes in flat.
LMFAO
Gawd! Now DL won’t ever shut up about how relevant the bloggers are.
I’m guessing the waterworks are starting at MMM’s casa right now…
The money backing De was the 1 percenters of SF. The council meetings should get real interesting now.
I am so glad. I got real tired of robo calls from De or Dave. All together I had about a dozen just for De, and only one from Kermit.
Go Kermit! The best person won tonight!
Stormlands coverage was terribad, but in between technical issues I got a big smile when Kermit was being interviewed. When asked what his priorities were, one thing he said right away was that he was going to make sure the event center pricetag was going to be kept at $115 million! I’m sure MMM cringed at that one knowing the EC is going to easily overrun that number
With the election of Staggers, and the re-election of Anderson Jr. and Jamison, the dynamic of the Council has just changed……..
I don’t know that this significantly changes the dynamic of the Council for now. After all, we’ve simply traded Brown for Staggers.
What it does do, however, is maintains some semblance of balance and prevents the rubber-stamper De from giving MMM a blank check for the next two years. Significant change can and must take place in 2014. Entenman and Rolfing must go.
Time to roll up our sleeves and get back to work!
HMR, actually one of the first people to call and congratulate Kermit was Huether. Cory B. also called him. Never got a call from De. But I told him if she did call he should ask her for some money (the room got a good chuckle out of that one.)
AG – I am going to try not to gloat. But I do know my readership is pretty good. After exposing the Charter Revision Commission (with the help of Jen Holsen) I started to realize that people really do read the internets.
On some level Triple M is glad he still has De on the Charter commission.
Considering on how outspent he was, winning a majority is especially impressive.
