Sometimes you read online comments (On the Argus site) and just shake your head. This one had me busting at the seams;

While ridiculously funny, I did not find Gant’s endorsement to be very wise. I think this quote from the article said it best;
Begalka said he was mystified by Gant’s move to support his opponent.
“We’ve never had a cross word or disagreement about anything,” he said.
He mused it might be “the establishment in Pierre, who wants to re-elect anybody who’s a yes-man and wants to go along with whatever their agenda is.”
Not a laughing matter and probably true.

There is a press conference tommorow (Tuesday) at the main branch library, Steele and Hubbel are hosting it. They are going to criticize the Governor for endorsing candidates. 10 AM. Should be a blast.

Let’s see – at best, 10% of the population is gay. Okay, then about 5% of the population is lesbian. What percentage of that number would be militant? Probably about 10%. So, SD’s population is around 800,000? 10% is 80,000. 5% is 40,000. Of course, that number includes all ages. I don’t imagine very many 9 years olds are militant lesbians. Let’s say half that number are adult militant lesbians. We’re at 8000 people. Does anyone believe SD has 8000 militant lesbians? Or maybe is 800? 80? 8? Yeah, probably 8.
