In the future, the City Council will have to name an employee and the action being taken against the employee. Pfeifle says going forward, city leaders intend to be as open as possible.

  1. Litigation is making an issue last months or years until both parties are exhausted. Meanwhile, business as usual. Hereafter, the state will be reluctant to bring an action involving more months and years without there ever being any resolution. In 5 years, all will admit ‘We can’t remember the original issue’.

    At some point, the governor will have to withhold city sales tax apportionment until there’s a return to democracy.
