Hey, make no mistake, being the incumbent in a political race is wonderful. You have the advantage of name recognition and accomplishments (or miserable failures . . . cough, Gant, cough . . .) but should an incumbent be able to use taxpayer resources to make obvious campaign materials? I’m no political marketing expert, but if this doesn’t look like a politician’s campaign broadsheet, call me crazy.

What if the city council put out a piece like this? Would councilor Jamison be chastised?
