How convenient that the Homeless Shelter item #10 is the last on the agenda. Good thing CUP still exists so these people can have their voices be heard, even if they make them wait. Better get some extra chairs in Carnegie that night, there is going to be some fireworks.

There seems to be no compassion from the city. The county does all social services with a budget 5 times less than they. I’m gonna try and be there. The city is so cruel, it’ll entice me to make a donation to The Banquet.
As was pointed out in the conveniently buried thread on this subject – under Shape Places – the homeless shelter would NOT BE ALLOWED AT ALL. In addition, as it was pointed out again – Under Shape Places – conditional uses and conditional use hearings STILL EXIST.
But, of course – you don’t use any deceptive language or spin anything all – ever – right DL?
Thank you, Bishop Dudley, for helping the poor and homeless.
The are a few hot button sections of Shape Places hidden in the massive document. The reason Shape Places was put to a vote was not to throw it away but to adopt it in sections over a few meetings so it could be read, understood and voted on systemically.
We have too many things being buried in consolidated consent agreements and master plans. Too many things are being hidden from public view. We want transparency.
Guest Poster – you missed too many of the 5-years worth of meetings regarding Shape Places that have already been held – on a piece by piece, step by step basis.
Sorry you weren’t paying attention – so does that mean EVERYBODY ELSE has to start over?
The problem with all the “initiative/referenda” fetishists is you are like the disruptive kid in a classroom full of other kids that otherwise wants to be learning and doing productive stuff.
What’s the next spit-wad being aimed at? Oh, that’s right – “educating voters”.
We don’t need no stinkin’ education.
