One had looked like a planned parenthood logo, one had T Denny Sanford’s face, a bunch of these didn’t even follow the simple rules, and way too many submissioned used dark green and yellow together… and sorry kids, the obviously submissions from grade school kids are cute and inspiring but they’re not serious enough to pass. I voted a 5 for yours Scott because I like the color and “motion” that I feel from it. Most of the other designs are stagnant, still, boring, flat… I gave about 10 of these a 5 and I didn’t give you a 5 just because you’re a friend, I really limited it to just the ones I thought I could fly high and proud in front of my house. I like the i29/i90 intersection one with the orange star a lot..

To me you were the hands down winner in a landslide. But…you lost out. Was there ever really any doubt? The winner is I guess a university student from South Africa??? Was that flag comparable? Not in my book.
Listening to the above podcast, I think you got beat out for one reason. Your sun did not have a starburst, which was merely a duplication of the state flag. Like mimicking the state flag takes artistic talent. Yellow on blue…OK. But the the jagged falls and red at the bottom? Other than the Native American blood that was shed in the name of “Manifest Destiny”…I don’t get it.
Just to let you know Scott. You had no f’n chance of winning this thing, no matter how good your flag was.

I voted for yours because it really seemed the least infuriating to stare at, but it could be better if it had more Dew bottles in the falls part.
The T Denny one was good, at first it looks like Colonel Sanders, then Red Foxx, and then T Denny.
