Not sure what to think of Item #7, but I am guessing the blame game has begun.

Here is the full document here, it’s a long one (Dalsin-Lien)

I love this page, we have no idea what EC contractors were awarded until they have to file court documents;

  1. So it appears the city and then Mortenson have not paid the last payments to the subcontractors. In this case it is MJ Dalsin not being paid for the roof work done.

    So the roof work got done and approved but MJ Dalsin is not being paid for it.

    This does not look like payments for the crappy siding. Is there another lien or lawsuits ready to be filed? Is this why Thompson Hine was hired to defend the Mayor and city from more subcontractor fallout?

    We keep asking the same questions
    1. Who forced MJ Dalsin and their subcontractor to continue installing crappy siding?
    2. Who signed off on the final siding inspection (approved) the crappy siding?
    3. Did the city ever get a formal occupancy permit?
    4. Where is the list of EC subcontractors?
    5. Where is the cost breakout we city taxpayers should be able to read and review?

  2. So, this is how they’ll collect for what the EC should have cost. Perhaps, the promised $100 million project that ended up $160 million will (eventually) cost the $300 million other cities paid.

    The easiest way to explain this is from a credit card executive’s approach. Give a credit line, increase it after 6 months, then let it ride for 2 years until the principle becomes double the original credit line.
