It’s time to consider implementation of a modern system. The current hardware is 2006. It’s been upgraded but tech advances make it obsolete. The ballot recorder they demonstrated took to long. It hummed and reset on its own like an old IBM typewriter. The tablet controller used by the supplier resembled an original Radio Shack 64k glorified calculator. There’s got to be or should be a faster better hardware ststem and handshake. Is this why it takes so long to count the vote? Is this why it could be easy to hack the system and manipulate the outcome?
