Kevin Smith, I am told, has left the city for the private sector. Kevin worked for Code Enforcement division, I think, heÂ was on the TV a lot telling us how to cut weeds and measure our grass. Thanks.

Kevin, just remember, freedom is a good thing. Good luck in your future endeavors!

Greetings:

The danger of self examination is that you may find something even if you don’t know what you’re looking for.Â So I decided to stop looking and just do stuff.Â I’ve always been good at entertaining myself.Â Each day I get up, feed the birds, then have a waffle covered with plum or blackberry jelly for breakfast. Â After I clear the table I place a blank sheet of drawing paper in the center.Â I stare at it for several minutes imagining a fantastic painting I would like to create.Â If this goes on for 20 minutes or more, I’ll take out my notebook and write a poem about this fantastic imaginary art piece. Â

Rumblings about joint County/Council meeting

There has been some discussion about whether the denial of the solar farm CUP permit last week during the Minnehaha County & Sioux Falls city council joint meeting was even legal? Why? Some motions were not voted on.

Not sure what will be done, but will be interesting to watch.
