  1. Informational, thanks. It’s no secret Sioux Falls has stepped up citations and cancelled the 12th Street bridge redo so they could fund the Spellerburg water feature. It’s also no secret citations are used to harrass anyone speaking out against the city. With home rule charter, you can’t be incarcerated for citations and there’s no appeal into court. However, they’ll charge you with public nuisance (a criminal not civil charge). There was a recent case that will end up in state court citing civil rights. They fingerprint you, put you in an orange jumpsuit, hold you 8 hours, and give you a permanent criminal record. There’s no way to stop Home Rule. If you want to remain free in this country, move outside Sioux Falls.

    Worst things in SF is jail (been there 3 times)

    At least when I was locked up in NJ they gave us purple (spoilt) Bolongna.
