  1. So is the mayor on the city time clock while talking to a group of people in a town 50 minutes away at 9 AM on a Wednesday? Official city business? Funny, he couldn’t walk 50 feet from his office to the old commission chambers to answer to an ethics complaint but he can drive to Yankton on a Wednesday and blow half of a day blowing smoke up their asses.

  2. One surefire way of turning Yankton into a huether type boom town would be taking some of those first premier bank card harvesters and put them in a cubicle down there.

  3. Considering his campaign tactics are always unofficially official or officially unofficial not sure which is which in his case, I will count this one as an early stump speech for his future run for Gov!!! Just watch, soon all the chambers in Watertown, Aberdeen, Rapid etc. will be inviting Mayor Mike to speak and probably find ways to put his face in the local papers/on the radio etc. This is how it works.

  4. A million cups of BS. I think Emmett’s right. What makes him so disgusting is he’s so obvious. We, the citizens, are indirectly promoting him with tax revenue meant to pay off sports palaces we’ll never use.

  5. Dan, I agree with you. I can’t figure out why anybody would want to listen to one of his speeches. I would go to sleep hearing his smarmy voice. I couldn’t believe they couldn’t find anybody better to speak at the Democratic whatever it was in town. But then I couldn’t believe when I heard that Sanford was speaking at the $75.00 dollar a person fund raiser for McCrossans. The topic was supposed to be about the difficulties he endured while making it to the top. I though everybody knew how he made his money. To heck with the difficulties.

  6. Reminds me of when Obuumer took a world apology tour. I’m sure the mayor deserves a noble prize as well.
