It seems short-timer Super-Duper Pam Homan was more concerned about her phone and text messaging then the graduates of Roosevelt HS while they were being handed their diplomas yesterday. Seems fitting.
So what do you think she was doing on her phone, I will get things rolling;
“Okay, how do I change my FB status to retired superintendent to full-time hobby equestrian?”
“Oh, Grumpy Cat, how you make me laugh.”
“I can’t believe they let school out this early, it’s gonna be colder then sh*t this week!”
“Hello Augustana.. Do I bring my own office furniture for the presidents office or is Rob Oliver’s staying”
“Mayor Mike, please respond to my LinkedIn request.”
“Don’t forget the 5:00 horse feeding!”
“Oh Auggie, I cannot wait to tell staff that I do not have any time to deal with them or their concerns when I get there. Oh yeah, I like my cars to have the heated and air conditioned seats!”
“If I act fast I’ve still got enough time to fire one more secretary.”
If the district IT staff were as good as I am on my phone, maybe the students could have used their chrome books for testing like they were supposed to.
Nothing new here. Nothing is more important to many people anymore than reading their email or texts on their phones. They don’t even realize how rude their actions are.
Forgot to mention that people are supposed to turn their phones off during a movie, with nothing adverse happening to them. It would seem that people should be able to do the same thing when visiting with friends or especially when in front of an audience like this. This was disrespectful.
If she’s texting Hilary, they get lost before becoming record.
