pulled-pork-sandwich

Cuz, we know, it would be appropriate;

The community is strongly encouraged to join in the celebration as Senator John Thune, Senator Tim Johnson, Mayor Mike Huether, and BNSF Railway Executive VP Roger Nober participate in a signing ceremony for the rail yard purchase agreement between BNSF Railway Company (BNSF) and the City of Sioux Falls.

The City of Sioux Falls has agreed to purchase the rail yard for $27,334,500, utilizing federal funds.

What a boondoggle. I don’t even know where to begin.

  1. I feel sorry for the working stiffs and those on fixed incomes residing in Sanford Falls. They will be saddled with debt subsidizing the profits of a select few for a long time while dealing with high crime and other issues.

  2. Pork barrel politics. A lot of money to spread around for pac funds and MMMs run for gov. He reminds me of Mel brooks in blazing saddles and fiddle faddle as headley Lemar. Crap that ruined a favorite to watch

  3. From what we know now, this is a good way to clean up and control the area. The feds are funding it. I’d rather not see the city involved. They’ve proven they can’t manage anything. With they involved there will be misappropriated funds with city taxpayers making up the difference. Remember the levees project.

  4. Customer payment would be tax free donations. No sales tax. Accepted payments would be PayPal, Bitcoin, or Ipay only. No cash or credit cards. No alcohol, just BYOB.

  5. scott, because he never got it done, MMM did. Duh. And Thune and Johnson wrote the check. Actually, he might have been invited and turned down the invitation.
