Once a month belfrage brings huether on air, and does nothing but set softballs on a t-ball stand for huether to hit out of the park. If you think this guy is going to let you go on air and say anything against huether without a fight, then you know nothing of greg belfrage. Very carefully, take note of the questions you get on Monday, and the questions huether will get the following day on Tuesday.

    I feel Greg did a good job of letting me get my points out there and I really look forward to the mayor’s responses. I know I received a bit of air time and the mayor is likely to get substantially more to refute what I said. But this is the price of the process. We just keep finding more things to put forward and the administration has to keep trying to find more ways to shut us up.

    It will be interesting as we move forward with our first amendment case against the city we are considering currently for their refusal to let us receive city press releases. These are the press releases the city issues to the media so they can attend press conferences and know the latest happening in city hall.

    I know I am inconvenient to their processes but when Heather Hitterdal tells me the city attorney and mayor have specifically excluded me from receiving these notices, they are treading on well worn paths to defeat. The United States Constitution does not have a test for what is media. In fact all of you can apply for the city press releases and you know what, maybe everyone should.

    The US Courts do not appreciate the press being stomped on by rulers and rule makers. One day Heather says I am media and the next I am not. Which is it and do they want the losing fight?

    My recent exposure on local press has been good and I thank the Argus Leader, KSFY, KDLT, KSOO, KELO radio and the blogs for creating a public space for this discussion.

    Scott, have wondered the same thing. ALL belfrages talking points come from Faux news. Then he can’t seem to get enough of mmm. Throws him the biggest softballs imagineable. Take the time, not a lot tho, to go to belfrages facebook page. The loyal followers who comment are nearly all the types I’d suspect would be holed up with the bundy’s in Oregon. White supremists supreme.
