Goddammit! You will eat our moldy bread, drink our over-priced ruffied drinks, or you will sit in the car;

Guests will still see similar security procedures as they have for other concerts. Bags will be checked and hand held metal detectors will also be used upon arrival. But for this show, the new security element is a bag restriction. No bags larger than 13″ by 15″ or 6 inches deep will be allowed for this performance.

In other words, any bags that can carry in extra snacks, booze, bottled water or whatever will be monitored.

The honey moon period is over folks for the Events Center. How ironic that the concert they choose to implement this fascism is at an already duplicate act.

  1. A little about aldean first. This good ol boy country twanger who pulls at the heartstrings of Joe and Jane Sixpack made 82 million dollars in 2015. How did he do that? By coming to any one of the thousands of venues like SF offers. aldean commands $500,000 per performance guaranteed, and around 85% of tickets sales over a prearranged number. Based on past performances in this size venue aldean will pull out of SF with between $750,000 and $1,000,000. So, I gotta ask, where is the economic impact of that kind of money leaving SF, never to be seen or heard of again?

    Which leads to another question. With aldean ponying out of town with that kind of money, how do the other players in this money grab get their piece of the money pie? One answer. Concessions. $8 taps and $8 hot dogs can heal a lot of what ails money hucksters. So if you’re going tonite, keep in mind as you are delayed by the wanding process, this has more to do with concessions than bad guys with guns.

  2. Half the fun is sneaking in your own snacks. Perhaps citizens should stay outside for concerts with ear to the wall. Walls are thin enough and falling off. Not such a bad idea and suddenly affordable for Sioux Falls majority.
