During MMM’s latest ‘Shut Up and Listen’ session, Lincoln HS students talk about 1st Amendment rights, polluted river, and what happened to the Touch of Europe. The mayor also uses some of our data to talk about the Events Center vote (and basically how a bunch of naïve young people voted it in, ironically on an advisory vote that wasn’t even legal binding.) Oh, and he didn’t do his ‘due dilligence’ when it comes to the data.

5 Thoughts on “Mayor Huether’s Listening & Learning session. What happened to the Touch of Europe

He’s been preaching that lie a lot lately. But why now?

Truth is, BIN & MMM knew it needed its own special, one-issue election in order to pass the EC. Had it been lumped in with a larger, general election – when far more people vote – the EC would have gone down in flames.

  2. As Mama always said: “The more often the lie is told, it’s easier for the speaker to tell it.” Thus the official voice of the city of Sioux Falls tells us another one of his revisionist history lessons to a room of Lincoln High AP students on May 18, 2016. This Shut & Listen is another example of why we pay attention.

Notice how he admits to likely breaking SD law with the election process?

Why does he talk to them like first graders instead of high school students wow

PDoesn’t he know there are fact checkers in this city? When you tell one lie, it’s easier to tell the second, third….am so pleased we have new members of the council who will hopefully help curtail his lack of transparency and hold him accountable!
